Two Accessories That Will Always Make You Stand Out

Everyone likes a sharp-dressed man and woman.  But no matter how expensive or fancy that sharp outfit may be, it will never look as good as it can on you unless you add these two ingredients to the mix:

Confidence and a smile!

When you walk into a room, enter as you if you own it. To do that, you need to be confident.  Nothing exudes confidence more than proper posture.  When you stand up straight, you look taller, leaner, graceful, and energetic.  People gravitate to that like a magnet.  Confidence is a positive energy that will attract peoples’ attention.

Whereas poor posture or slouching gives off a negative vibe.  Poor posture makes you look shorter, insecure, low energy, and depressed. Not attractive. No designer outfit or accessories can compensate for poor postural alignment.  That’s because the person makes the clothes, not the clothes the person. 

If you want to be remembered, be bold, be confident, and stand up straight! – just like your mama told you when you were a kid.  

A proper posture offers many benefits besides making you look confident. If you make it a habit to sit and stand straight, you will alleviate pain in your neck, shoulders, and back. Further, you will improve digestion, blood circulation, and increase your lung capacity and energy.  This is a big win for you!

You only get one chance to make a great first impression.  Don’t forget to SMILE!  Everyone loves a cheerful person. When you smile, you show kindness, happiness, confidence, and friendliness.  It lets people know you are an inviting person and not a snob.

Smiling is contagious so spread some positivity with your smile.  Smile even if you don’t feel like it.  Smiling helps lower stress, improves mood, reduces blood pressure, and strengthens the immune system.  Practicing gratitude every day is an excellent habit that will inadvertently make you smile more often.  

So next time you get ready to go somewhere, don’t leave your confidence and smile at home. Wear them first and you will own the day!
