EASY Tzatziki Recipe

Feel & Look Fabulous

Tzatziki is a popular Greek yogurt dip that goes great on grilled meats and kabobs.  Here is a simple probiotic recipe you can try at home:

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-size container of Fage Greek yogurt (choose 5% fat)
  • 1 small cucumber 🥒
  • A small bunch of fresh dill 🌿chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of organic raw apple cider vinegar (ACV) with mother. I prefer Bragg’s
  • 4 tablespoons organic extra virgin olive oil 🫒
  • 3 cloves of garlic 🧄.  If you love spicy food, feel free to add more garlic
  • Salt 🧂 & Pepper to taste

Directions

1. Peel and grate the cucumber.

2. Strain the water from the grated cucumber.  You do not want the cucumber to be wet when you mix it with the yogurt because the tzatziki sauce will be too runny.  The drier the cucumber, the better.

3. Place yogurt in a bowel

4. Mince 3 cloves of garlic and add them to the yogurt

5. Add cucumber, dill, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper to the yogurt and mix it well with a spoon.

6. ENJOY!

This Greek yogurt sauce is not only tasty, but it is also loaded with probiotics that help promote gut health. Tzatziki is a versatile sauce.  It goes great on grilled meats, can be used as a dipping sauce with raw vegetables, and pairs well with a Greek salad.

ACV has many tremendous health benefits. Among the many benefits include: killing harmful bacteria in your food, it’s a good source of potassium, amino acids, and antioxidants, helps stabilize blood sugar, and aids weight loss [1]
